Our Story

Principal's Message

Located within the Glenelg Parish, Our Lady of Grace School is a Catholic co-educational Reception – Year 6 school educating students in a lifelong pursuit of excellence and building a community of faith through the Dominican tradition.

At Our Lady of Grace School we build and maintain collaborative, respectful relationships where we can take risks so we can reach our potential. We nurture and uphold the dignity of one another and always strive through our learner values to; Be Christ like, Be respectful, Be supportive, Be safe, Be learners, Be brave.

As well as a strong academic focus, the school has a particular focus on wellbeing and supporting the needs of students and families within our community. Our active Parent and Friends group works to build community through social and fundraising functions and supports learning through positive parent-teacher partnerships.

A strong commitment to whole school learning, along with the establishment of collaborative teams, has been instrumental in bringing about a greater focus on authentic and contemporary pedagogy.

Our Lady of Grace School staff believe they have a responsibility to empower and equip learners with competencies which will allow them to have agency over their learning.  We are committed to providing opportunities to work alongside learners to encourage them to be Christ like and IGNITE, WONDER and GROW both now and into the future.
