Developing strong Literacy and Numeracy skills are a central focus for our students across the school but a strong base is essential. Through Investigative groups, we provide opportunities for children to develop and refine their reading, writing, and spelling skills, as well as exploring numeracy concepts, scientific skills, STEM activities and the creative arts.
We provide a vibrant, engaging and creative learning space where children can develop at their own pace and in their own learning style.

During Circle Time students divide up into the House Teams, with Reception to Year 6 students spread evenly across the groups, groups are led by our Student Voice leaders. There are topics and activities that students participate in, circle time gives them time and tools to engage and listen to each other.
Circle time encourages unity, respect, turn-taking and working together towards a shared vision or learning that it’s ok to be different to someone else.
Five key skills that students practice during Circle time are: thinking, listening, looking, speaking, and concentrating.
